I am writing to give you further information as to our plans to provide our students with some face to face interaction with their teachers in the current circumstances.
Since guidelines published by the government, we have considered several models to ensure education continues for your child. The biggest challenge is to bring in 25% of the cohort each day and to provide them with best possible teaching and learning provision under the circumstances.
Having reviewed options available we cannot accommodate all students in one classroom (due to govtment guidelines on a 2m distance). Ideally, we want every Year 12 student to have some sort of face-to-face interaction with their subject expert/teacher. Therefore, we have decided that for Year 12s we will continue with virtual lessons on Google Meets / Classroom. The link below highlights an agreed timetable for all weekly sessions.
This will allow every student to have more than 6 hours of learning time with their subject expert before the summer break.
