At Guru Nanak Sikh Academy our all-through vision for Drama is to establish a love of learning and appreciation of the arts(Drama). Students are introduced to drama for the first time and initially explore the foundations of Theatre, such as devising, performing and Appreciation. 

Through the journey from EYFS to KS5 pupils will progressively acquire the knowledge to build confidence, enhance communication and improve oracy. This is achieved by schemes of work such as Theatre in education - allowing KS4 to devise and perform an educational piece of theatre for KS2.

Pupils will achieve the skills to have the confidence to pursue any career of their choosing. An example of these are empathy, team building, time management, leadership and confidence.
